Job Summary

Lead delivery and execution of federal Property & Buildings projects by managing a team of AEP Project Managers. Oversee project financials, fee proposals, CPARS attainment, subconsultant management, audit compliance, and metrics, while coordinating quality control processes and personnel performance. Partner with Program Managers, Client Care Leaders, and planning leadership to support staffing, standardize execution processes, and provide occasional business development and M&A integration support.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the performance of assigned Project Managers across program/project financials, fee proposals, CPARS attainment, subconsultant management, audit compliance, metrics, and client coordination.
•Conduct project review responsibilities for projects led by other PMs who are not direct reports.
•Coordinate Quality Control processes and standardize Project Manager processes for execution of work.
•Provide personnel management including performance reviews, career development, mentoring, time cards, expense reports, recruiting/hiring/training, and evaluations.
•Support business development as needed (including SF330/TORN) and assist with potential M&A integration while reporting to the District Leader.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
•15+ years’ experience in consulting, engineering, program management and/or business development to the federal government (DOD).
•10+ years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering/architectural teams.
•Professional registration and the ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level security clearance.
•Strong knowledge of DOD clients and US contracting; proven experience managing large, complex federal opportunities and pursuits, plus strong negotiation and communication skills.
