Shape Visa’s strategy across the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem by identifying opportunities for AI-native commerce and digital experiences. Lead ecosystem development and market research, monitor competitive and startup activity, and build relationships with founders, product leaders, developers, investors, and partners. Collaborate with product, engineering, venture, and partnership teams to evaluate ideas, prototype concepts, and translate technical developments into business implications and commercialization strategies.

•Develop a deep understanding of the AI ecosystem, including model providers, applications, developer and infrastructure platforms, and emerging trends.
•Monitor market developments, competitive activity, startup ecosystems, and evolving developer behavior to identify strategic opportunities for Visa.
•Conduct market research, ecosystem mapping, and strategic analysis to inform Visa’s AI-native commerce and digital experience approach.
•Build relationships with founders, product leaders, developers, investors, and ecosystem participants to understand evolving business models.
•Collaborate with product, engineering, venture, and partnership teams to evaluate ideas, prototype concepts, and translate technical developments into business implications and partnership opportunities.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
•6+ years (preferred) with a Bachelors degree, or 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
•Experience in strategy, product management, partnerships, venture capital, consulting, startup ecosystems, corporate development, or related fields.
•Strong interest in artificial intelligence, developer platforms, emerging technologies, and technology-driven business models.
•Demonstrated ability to evaluate markets, identify emerging opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations.
