Job Summary

Join the Airplane Systems Engineering team to execute modifications and upgrades for the Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2) program. You’ll develop and document mechanical/fluid system and thermal environment requirements, create and maintain system and component designs, and perform analyses to verify systems meet requirements. At the lead level, you’ll provide technical quality review, manage supplier development and testing, and coach engineers while supporting proposal and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and document mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish system design.
•Develop, maintain, and modify system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide documentation to downstream groups.
•Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
•Contribute to supplier development, test, and production activities; direct suppliers to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
•At lead level: provide technical quality review, prioritize/delegate analysis work for mechanisms and related components, and train/coach others while supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,050 - 159,850 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
•Practical experience and knowledge of Environmental Control Systems (ECS).
•3+ years of mechanical engineering design and analysis (7+ years for the lead level).
•Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship.
•For lead level: ability to lead a team and mentor engineers.
