Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with a dedicated deal team and collaborate with banking teams across the globe to support client solutions.
  • •Experience different areas of banking (Strategic Advisory, Corporate Finance, or Financing Solutions) based on interests and business needs.
  • •Get exposure to live deals and support the work that helps make transactions happen.
  • •Build understanding of financial statements and key ratios, including spotting anomalies.
  • •Assist in researching market conditions and creating client materials, plus contribute to research and credit analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Be available to work full time for 8 weeks commencing July 2027.
  • •Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
  • •Be fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • •Be legally permitted to work in mainland China for the full duration of the programme and beyond, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship.
  • •Be able to take on new challenges and learn in a fast-paced team environment.
