Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform access control operations and visitor processing/screening using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
  • •Conduct vehicular and foot security patrols and provide traffic control and direction.
  • •Monitor alarms and respond to incidents, including injury or illness, until emergency personnel arrive.
  • •Safeguard and account for keys; operate security and safety systems.
  • •Complete reports, maintain records, manage civil disturbances/emergencies, and provide testimony when required.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of security experience within the past 5 years, or 3 years of military/National Guard service, or an associate degree or higher in a security or law enforcement-related field, or completion of a police officer basic training academy.
  • •Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
  • •Pass background screening, psychological evaluation, and drug testing, and complete required initial training.
  • •Be physically capable of performing job duties up to 12 hours per day, including sustained alertness and operating security equipment.
  • •Operate firearms and security systems as required; demonstrate firearm and equipment proficiency and complete an approved physical evaluation.
