Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the teller area efficiently to ensure transactions are completed with speed and accuracy while meeting service quality standards.
  • •Assign teller work duties and schedules; monitor cash limits and make appropriate shipment decisions; approve other tellers’ transactions.
  • •Monitor and report branch activity (e.g., teller outages and transactions as assigned) and review timecards to track absences and tardiness.
  • •Provide guidance on operational and auditing policies and procedures; coach staff to cross-sell bank products and services.
  • •Complete required monthly audit reports, ensure compliance (including BSA/AML training), and perform required Sr. Teller duties as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or GED plus specialized schooling/on-the-job education in a specific skill area, with 2 years related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in person-to-person and small group situations with customers and employees.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages, and to prepare/interpret bar graphs.
  • •Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions with limited standardization.
  • •Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, planning work, and addressing complaints.
