Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field plus 2 years of civil engineering design and construction services experience, or a diploma/certificate in civil engineering technology plus 4 years of related experience or equivalency.
  • •General understanding of civil design and construction services, including MMCD and/or NMS standards.
  • •Demonstrated ability to use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to review engineering drawings, site layouts, grading plans, and construction details.
  • •Working knowledge of contract documentation, including MMCD and NMS, and interest in certifying as MMCD Certified Contract Administration.
  • •Valid BC Class V driver’s license with access to a vehicle; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
