Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
  • •Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
  • •Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and enunciation.
  • •Maintain a professional demeanor throughout sessions and remain calm in emergency situations (e.g., 911 calls).
  • •Follow client instructions and protocol to ensure client expectations are met with LEP clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in Anuak and English
  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States; work authorization that does not require sponsorship
  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •Ability to read and write Anuak (highly preferred)
  • •Must be at least 18 years old and able to work from a quiet home-office environment
