Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion as part of a multidisciplinary team under experienced engineers.
  • •Assist with technical design by contributing to electrical building services systems and supporting system load calculations and plant sizing.
  • •Support coordination and sizing of plant rooms and distribution routes, and prepare technical reports appropriate to each design stage.
  • •Assist in developing technical specifications, evaluating technical options, and documenting design decisions.
  • •Attend project meetings and workshops, and support site inspections and monitoring installations during construction and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •An accredited Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Degree accreditation by a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE is preferred.
  • •A strong interest in building services, sustainable design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • •Relevant industry experience through internships, placements, work experience, or project-based activities would be advantageous.
  • •Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to learning and interest in professional registration (e.g., IEng or CEng) in the future.
