Job Summary

Design, build, test, deploy, and support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) side-by-side extensions for a global SAP S/4HANA transformation. Work across workflows, APIs, services, and integrations (including SAP Flexible Workflow and SAP Integration Suite), ensuring clean-core architecture, secure connectivity, and reusable solutions. Collaborate with SAP technical, Fiori/UI5, integration, security, and testing teams to deliver documentation-ready deliverables through SIT/UAT, cutover, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop SAP BTP side-by-side extensions that address approved business process gaps while preserving clean-core architecture.
•Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA technical teams to determine when to use standard SAP functionality, Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, RAP-based services, or BTP side-by-side extensibility.
•Develop BTP applications/services/workflows/APIs and integration components using approved enterprise architecture patterns.
•Consume SAP S/4HANA released APIs, CDS-based services, OData services, RAP services, and business events within BTP applications and extensions.
•Support end-to-end delivery activities including SIT/UAT/regression/performance testing, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer, plus prepare technical specifications and deployment documentation.

Key Requirements

•6-10 years overall SAP technical or cloud development experience, including 3-5 years hands-on SAP BTP development.
•Experience in at least one or two SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation programs using SAP BTP for application development, workflow, APIs, integration, or extensibility.
•Hands-on BTP experience with connectivity, destinations, authentication, authorization, role collections, and deployment concepts.
•Strong understanding of extensibility strategy (Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, RAP-based service exposure, and BTP side-by-side extensions) with clean-core design using released APIs/events/services.
•Experience with SAP BTP Workflow (or equivalent) and integration using REST/OData/APIs, event-driven patterns, and SAP Integration Suite for secure connectivity.
