Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and analyze semiconductor process equipment systems spanning robotic wafer handling, electrostatic chucks, vacuum/cryogenic/high-temperature systems, thin film deposition, and test/analysis equipment.
  • •Develop and implement concepts for complex product issues to achieve world-class performance.
  • •Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects and support research and development of new technologies.
  • •Interface with internal and external customers on complex engineering issues tied to High Value Problems (HVP).
  • •Analyze requirements, define system architectures, perform thorough testing, and ensure integration of subsystems while mitigating risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS (preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Experience in semiconductor capital equipment design and development, ideally in ion implantation or similar materials modification processes.
  • •Ability to design advanced engineering materials components/assemblies (metals, polymers, ceramics) across operating conditions including vacuum and wide temperature ranges.
  • •Experience designing atmospheric and vacuum test equipment using advanced sensors and controls for R&D.
  • •Ability to interpret metrology/analytical instrument data (e.g., SEM, TEM, EDX, SIMS, TXRF, particle counters, digital microscopes) to investigate material behaviors.
