Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop tools for system-level testing of enterprise wireless access point products in customer-like environments.
  • •Plan and execute functional, system, manual, and automated testing for access point software features and modules.
  • •Review requirements and design specifications to extract test requirements and identify testability needs.
  • •Build, maintain, and expand test automation coverage across ongoing software releases.
  • •Investigate customer-found access point issues by reproducing scenarios, analyzing failures, validating fixes, and updating regression and test strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires an MSEE or MS in Computer Science with 10+ years of related experience, or a BSEE or BS in Computer Science with 12+ years of related experience.
  • •Extensive experience with Wireless LAN technologies, Access Point software, and Enterprise Wireless products.
  • •End-to-end wireless domain knowledge, including the ability to design and troubleshoot Access Point deployments in medium-to-large customer-like environments.
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to take discussions and open issues to closure with local and remote teams.
  • •Strong scripting knowledge in Python, including understanding and coding programmability transports using native and OpenConfig models.
