Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain scalable microservices and business-critical APIs/services with high availability, low latency, security, and scalability.
  • •Participate in sprint planning and provide updates to engineering leads and stakeholders, including TPMs.
  • •Write understandable, well-tested, maintainable code and contribute to reusable libraries, code, and patterns.
  • •Scale services to meet business and product requirements, often under supervision, using techniques like data modeling, query optimization, and caching.
  • •Use monitoring/profiling/tracing and load testing to discover bottlenecks and support release confidence using feature toggles, CI/CD, test automation, logging, and monitoring; assist with on-call incident response.

Key Requirements

  • •MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • •3+ years of backend software development experience building cloud application systems.
  • •Experience with Kotlin, Python, or similar languages.
  • •Experience with Spring Boot and/or Bottle/Gunicorn, and backend web frameworks (JVM or Python).
  • •Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL and DynamoDB/Mongo) plus request processing via REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
