Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow hatchery Embrex procedures, including pulling eggs from setters, clearing egg removers, and ensuring eggs are vaccinated and placed into correct hatchers.
  • •Participate in hatchery quality control, animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety programs.
  • •Handle Embrex equipment setup/teardown and wash/sanitize equipment, incubators, and rooms.
  • •Monitor machines and equipment for proper operation and document findings; perform maintenance repairs as needed.
  • •Maintain spare parts inventory and monitor vaccine inventories; train others and perform other duties as directed.
