Key Responsibilities

  • •Design training approaches, and develop curricula and content to support the CAI OpEx business.
  • •Execute instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, or rapid content development, producing instructor-led, self-study, and/or online learning materials.
  • •Write clear learning objectives and assessments using Bloom’s Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick’s Model and prepare learning deliverables.
  • •Develop instructional plan/design documents, project plans/timelines/issue logs, and estimate scope and resource needs for new learning development requests.
  • •Lead instructional design group quality assurance through peer reviews/coaching, review/edit others’ work for adherence to standards, and manage multiple complex projects (including contract staff/instructional designers as needed).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a learning and development role (or an equivalent combination, such as a master’s with 2 years, or Ph.D. with up to 1 year).
  • •Minimum five years of experience designing and developing instructor-led, self-study, and web-based instruction materials.
  • •Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • •Demonstrated strong instructional design capabilities, including adult learning principles, learning styles, and instructional design approaches.
  • •Proven leadership capabilities and ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong project management and follow-up skills.
