Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 engineers with strong technical ownership.
  • •Coach engineers through regular feedback, career development, calibration, and performance management.
  • •Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard to scale the team.
  • •Stay hands-on via architecture, pair programming, code reviews, and on-call.
  • •Partner with product and design to shape roadmaps, scope work, plan sprints, and drive measurable outcomes while improving patient–provider matching and lifecycle engagement metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies, plus 2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience.
  • •Experience hiring engineers and managing performance, promotions, and career development.
  • •Stay technical enough to pair program with the team and contribute directly when needed.
  • •Exceptional product judgment, including writing PRDs, critiquing/mock designs, sizing opportunities, and progressing without waiting on a PM.
  • •Highly proficient with React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or similar modern stacks.
