Job Summary

Design and develop DC-DC power conversion and control systems for Starmind satellites and orbital data centers. Provide expertise in electrical power system/subsystem trade studies, define requirements, and execute verification testing and analysis for harsh space environments. Partner with multidisciplinary design, test, and production teams to create reliable, high-efficiency power electronics supporting orbital AI inference across low-voltage to kV and 1W to many kW applications.

•Provide engineering expertise in design, analysis, and testing of DC-DC power converters for harsh environments.
•Perform electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements.
•Define and conduct electrical power system verification testing and analysis.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary design, test, and production engineers to create new power electronics hardware.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
•5+ years of experience in power converter development.
•Previous experience with DC-DC power converter development.
•Previous experience working with magnetics, including design of custom transformers and inductors (planar magnetics).
•Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics.
