Job Summary

Maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities in Charlotte, supporting safe, reliable snack food production. Follow safety and regulatory procedures (LOTO, Arc Flash/Hot Work, Confined Spaces) and GMPs, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and use CMMS to document work. Troubleshoot breakdowns with RCA/BDA and predictive maintenance tools (ultrasound, thermal imaging, oil and vibration analysis). Repair/install parts, interpret technical drawings, and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain equipment and facilities to keep production running safely and productively, supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability.
•Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements, including LOTO, Arc Flash/Hot Work permits, confined spaces, and GMPs.
•Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds; execute planned and unplanned work and document findings in CMMS.
•Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns using RCA/BDA and implement actions to prevent repeat failures.
•Repair, install, and fabricate or modify parts/tools/equipment; interpret technical diagrams and educate operations on autonomous maintenance concepts as needed.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
•High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience performing mechanical and/or electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and passing a plant-specific maintenance test.
•Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams (e.g., factory manuals, blueprints, schematics, single line electrical drawings, P&IDs).
•Use computers for data entry and maintenance documentation in CMMS work orders.
•Forklift certified (or able to obtain forklift and aerial lifts certification).
