Job Summary

  • •Develop construction and equipment specifications for assigned projects.
  • •Support projects across feasibility, preliminary/detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning; present at meetings and occasionally travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform electrical engineering design work on assigned projects under the guidance of senior staff.
  • •Experience with solar PV and BESS system design tasks such as array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, and utility interconnections.
  • •Develop energy production modeling for solar PV and BESS systems.
  • •Familiarity with NEC and related codes such as IBC and NFPA 855, plus utility practices and standards (NESC, IEEE, PIP).
  • •Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and/or demonstrated equivalency; Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) license preferred.
