Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain First Line of Defence business risk control capability for IWPB, aligned to the global model (assessment, monitoring, standards implementation, QA).
  • •Provide guidance to IWPB teams to meet Second Line directives (Compliance, Operational Risk, Information Security Risk, Business Continuity/Resilience, etc.).
  • •Protect the bank and IWPB from operational loss by identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks (financial and reputational).
  • •Act as a key point of contact for IWPB Senior Management on compliance and operational risk matters, representing IWPB with Second Line stakeholders.
  • •Drive control monitoring and governance by coordinating RCA scoping and producing high-quality materials for risk management meetings and forums.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in operational risk and controls, ideally across front line and risk roles.
  • •Solid understanding of the Group Operational Risk Framework and how to apply it in a First Line environment.
  • •Proven problem-solving skills, including lateral thinking and pragmatic solution design.
  • •Highly developed communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders and diverse teams.
  • •Good awareness of the regulatory environment and strong knowledge of IWPB business, products, and services.
