Fabricate and install pipework using TIG welding as part of a workshop-and-site role. Diagnose system issues during installation and equipment testing, and perform modifications, repairs, and adjustments to meet customer requirements. Work from blueprints, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications while using diagnostic technology and hand tools. Collaborate with hire/service desks, Sales, and Operations to share customer insights and support continuous improvement in operational technical processes.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose system issues during pipework installation and equipment testing.
•Carry out modifications, repairs, and installation adjustments to meet customer requirements on-site and within the depot.
•Use advanced software, diagnostic technology, and hand tools to diagnose and repair units using blueprints, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications.
•Collaborate with hire and service desks, Sales, and Operations to share customer insights and maintain strong communication channels.
•Communicate updates to supervisors and managers, supporting continuous improvement through technical operational processes.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge and experience in pipefitting and TIG welding (or closely related mechanical fabrication).
•Practical experience fabricating and installing stainless steel pipework.
•Experience diagnosing system issues during pipework installation and equipment testing.
•Proficiency working from blueprints, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications using hand tools and diagnostic technology.
•Gas Safe and F-Gas qualifications are advantageous, along with a full UK driving licence and right to work in the country of application.
