Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage processes to ensure credible challenge, oversight, and validation of IT risk findings, action plans, risk acceptances, and 1st line risk/control assessments.
  • •Manage and oversee assigned L2 risks from the Risk Registry in alignment with risk appetite.
  • •Participate in and challenge IT policies and standards processes to ensure outputs align with risk appetite, including metrics, controls, and process maps.
  • •Deliver periodic IT risk updates at governance meetings and actively participate in the IT Risk Committee and sub-forums.
  • •Deliver quarterly independent IT risk assessments and targeted assessments to support the bank’s IT risk profile.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • •5+ years relevant experience in a technology role supporting technology processes or assets (applications/systems).
  • •Previous experience in Governance/Risk/Compliance/Audit functions, ideally in a leadership role.
  • •Advanced understanding of IT processes (developing, delivering, supporting technology) and associated technology risks and controls.
  • •Ability to assess risks, analyze testing results, and develop remediation plans; experience with IT risk and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT).
