Key Responsibilities

  • •Day-to-day responsibility for running a care unit.
  • •Support with clinical duties, including assisting nurse with observation, medication, care plan reviews and accurate record keeping.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including handling shift handovers.
  • •Help train and supervise new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Build relationships with residents, their families and external teams (GPs, District Nurses) and support residents with personal care duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care (support for completion provided)
