Job Summary

Design and lead ultra-deep sub-micron CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuits for high-speed optical communications transceivers. Work within the Acacia Mixed Signal Design team on complex chip blocks across architecting, detailed design, layout, measurement, and productization, integrating designs into a DSP ASIC. Mentor team members, drive peer reviews, and collaborate with digital/DSP, system, packaging, and hardware teams to meet signal and power integrity requirements.

•Mentor team members, track deliverables, and participate in peer review of complex IC designs.
•Provide solid design methodology from conception through production.
•Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to meet signal and power integrity specifications.
•Develop high-speed AMS circuits and drive initiatives to improve team effectiveness and outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelors + 15 years, or Masters + 10 years, or PhD + 7 years of related experience.
•Experience designing, simulating, and measuring high-speed ICs across at least three areas such as SerDes/serial links, output drivers, PLLs, clock distribution, Opamps/PGAs, or equalization techniques.
•Direct experience leading a team working on high-performance circuits.
•Experience with electrical transceiver applications including backplane and cable communications (preferred).
•Experience with FinFET and GAA technologies, and high-frequency layout with floorplanning and passives (preferred).
