Job Summary

Design and produce layouts, assembly and detailed drawings, bills of material, and technical specifications for the manufacture, construction, operation, and erection of machines, tools, equipment, and facilities. Support and troubleshoot assigned projects by investigating routine equipment/facility problems, participating in shop tryouts, and recommending redesigns or repairs. Collaborate with engineers and other departments while maintaining accurate job records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Create design layouts using stress analysis, mechanics, kinematics, machine/tool design, strength of materials, physics, and mathematics.
•Produce assembly and detailed drawings, bills of material, and technical documentation.
•Review projects and investigate routine problems related to machinery, tools, equipment, and facilities.
•Participate in shop tryouts and recommend redesign, repair, or rebuilding to meet requirements.
•Collaborate with engineers/designers across departments and maintain accurate job records and reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
•1–3 years of experience in engineering design and/or project management.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Proficiency with engineering/project tools including AutoCAD Inventor, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel/Word, and FEA tools.
