Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop into a well-rounded consultant through a structured 24-month Graduate Development Programme.
  • •Attend client meetings and support work across the Capital Allowances service line from design through due diligence.
  • •Research entitlement and tax history on property transactions to support claim preparation.
  • •Formulate acquisition claims and apply the correct tax treatment to capital project expenditure.

Key Requirements

  • •Cognate students should hold (or be on track for) a RICS-accredited degree or RICS-accredited masters conversion course in Quantity Surveying or Real Estate (2:1 minimum).
  • •Non-cognate students studying Maths, Economics, Finance, Tax, or Business Studies are welcome to apply (2:1 minimum).
  • •Show an understanding of the technical aspects of building surveying and a genuine interest in the real estate and built environment.
  • •Demonstrate analytical thinking and a desire to solve problems logically while developing data and insight presentation skills.
  • •Be customer-focused with a commitment to quality and continuous learning; in Defence roles you may need to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard and UKSV SC clearance checks.
