Job Summary

Lead geotechnical engineer and project manager in Charlotte, NC, driving geotechnical engineering projects for public and private sector clients. Key Responsibilities

•Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work on multiple concurrent geotechnical engineering projects.
•Provide guidance and training to entry- and mid-level geotechnical engineers.
•Assist in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of data obtained during field investigations, offering input for project development, design, and construction.
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, statistical analysis of rock and soil data, and reporting.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Civil Engineering; Geotechnical emphasis and MS degree a plus
•Professional Engineer (PE) license
•10+ years of professional experience
•Project management experience including scoping, and tracking hours and expenses for project work
•Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships as well as experience in proposal preparation
