Job Summary

Create and lead high-impact projects for complex image-guided therapy systems, driving continuous improvements across legacy and platform designs. Apply systems engineering methods to perform DFMEA, risk and safety assessments, verification/validation planning, and design documentation in line with medical device standards. Develop system compatibility reports between Philips platforms and third-party medical devices, and report technical maturity, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders to support go/no-go decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Create, develop, and lead high-impact projects for complex image-guided therapy systems with strong business cases.
•Drive continuous improvements across legacy and platform systems to support global product health and performance.
•Perform DFMEA, risk management, and safety assessments in a cross-functional environment, including product safety risk impact analysis.
•Develop system-level compatibility reports between Philips platforms and third-party medical devices used by patients and hospitals.
•Define test scopes and ensure release of design verification & validation plans/reports, including documentation per quality management system and standards.

Key Requirements

•8 to 12 years of analog and digital engineering experience with strong systems engineering understanding for MedTech devices.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Bio-medical) with systems engineering aptitude; master’s preferred.
•Hands-on experience with tools such as TrackWise, Clear-quest, Windchill, DOORs (or equivalents).
•Knowledge and application of standards including ISO 14971 and ISO 13485, and IEC 60601-1; experience with regulatory aspects (FDA, MDR, NMPA, TGA, etc.).
•Experience in requirements engineering, DFMEA, V&V, system integration, and hardware risk management, including sustaining/value engineering.
