Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute the full lifecycle of ILP transactions, including trade order placements, settlements, NAV valuations, and reconciliations.
  • •Ensure investment mandate and regulatory compliance, including implementation of internal controls per HSBC standards.
  • •Review and enhance Investment Services workflows to improve efficiency and mitigate risk of errors.
  • •Prepare and review portfolio account opening, fund manager transition, and new fund manager onboarding; support fund creation/closure and switch activities, UAT, and stakeholder requests.
  • •Maintain and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and front/liaise with auditors on reporting matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in investment operations and accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • •University graduate; additional professional qualifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst are a plus.
  • •Strong knowledge of local regulations such as MAS Notice 307 and the Securities and Futures Act.
  • •Strong understanding of investment instruments including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and derivatives.
  • •Strong Microsoft Excel skills and verbal and written communication skills.
