Key Responsibilities

  • •Convert utilities and infrastructure as-built drawings and data into structured GIS datasets that comply with defined GIS data models and standards.
  • •Perform GIS data QA/QC and validation, identifying and fixing spatial, attribute, topology, and connectivity issues.
  • •Support utilities and infrastructure GIS datasets, applying validation and connectivity rules to maintain data integrity.
  • •Manage Enterprise GIS and geodatabase structures in the Esri ArcGIS ecosystem, including feature classes, relationships, domains, subtypes, topology, and network-related data structures.
  • •Develop and automate GIS data transformation and ETL workflows using Python, ArcGIS ModelBuilder, and/or FME, improving conversion and validation processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (GIS/spatial qualifications preferred).
  • •7+ years of hands-on experience converting utilities and infrastructure as-built data into GIS.
  • •Strong experience in GIS data extraction, conversion, cleansing, validation, and QA/QC for utilities/infrastructure/land datasets.
  • •Experience validating spatial relationships, topological behaviors, and network connectivity rules in Enterprise GIS environments.
  • •Native Arabic and professional English proficiency.
