Support a manufacturing shop floor by developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining custom and commercial manufacturing applications. Convert legacy systems to current technologies and design reporting solutions for review and approval.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, support, and troubleshoot custom and off-the-shelf manufacturing applications used on the shop floor.
•Design and create HMI/SCADA interfaces for shop floor machine tools.
•Design custom business applications to collect, analyze, and report manufacturing data for plant operations.
•Analyze application performance and debug and/or repair applications as necessary.
•Modify custom applications and design reporting solutions to meet compliance and business requirements, including converting legacy software to current technologies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years’ experience in engineering/manufacturing operations/quality, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in a similar environment.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including VBA.
•Experience with a programming language such as .Net, Java, or Python.
•Experience extracting and manipulating data from Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
•PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk).
