Job Summary

Supervise operations at a Pratt & Whitney engine center in Bridgeport, WV. You’ll help ensure employees are properly trained and maintain up-to-date training records, oversee EH&S/CORE/Quality/ITC activities, and support the line manager as a liaison with P&WC and customers. Working 1st shift, you’ll coach and mentor teams, handle unusual technical and administrative issues, and use tools like MS Office and SAP to support shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist subordinates with unusual problems involving scheduling, interpreting complex instructions, specifications/drawings, service bulletins, engineering changes, and new equipment/tooling; review recommendations and approve solutions.
•Plan and execute employee engagement action items and lead coaching/mentoring to support employees’ success.
•Ensure EH&S/CORE/Quality/ITC activities are carried out and maintain training records for proper assignment readiness.
•Coordinate technical and administrative duties in support of the line manager and act as a liaison with P&WC and customers.
•At times, supervise other shop areas during peer supervisors’ absence.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/OEM/MRO or other highly regulated environment, OR an Associate’s degree plus 4 years related experience, OR 6 years related experience in lieu of a post-high school degree.
•Proven leadership experience coaching and mentoring employees to achieve personal and professional success.
•Experience using MS Office and SAP.
•Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques, shop practices, and product/process technologies and procedures.
•Ability to communicate effectively and build teamwork in a high-stakes, regulated environment.
