Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the resin category strategy aligned with regional and global purchasing strategy, translating it into action plans.
  • •Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and long-term sourcing strategy.
  • •Manage supplier base and implement best practices to drive cost reduction, standardization, consolidation, and continuous improvement.
  • •Lead negotiation processes and contract management, using Amcor negotiation techniques and tools and monitoring contract realization.
  • •Provide budgeting, forecasting, and periodic/ad hoc reporting on KPI performance, savings, TCO improvements, and working capital improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement and category management.
  • •Experience in commodity procurement (e.g., polymers, steel, agricultural).
  • •Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and cost optimization in a multinational environment.
  • •Experience developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • •Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
