Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop end-to-end storage features for the Lightning product from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • •Architect and build AI-driven infrastructure systems by breaking down initiatives, identifying dependencies/risks early, and defining software specifications with security and quality focus.
  • •Set the technical bar through hands-on development and code reviews in C++, Python, and Linux environments.
  • •Collaborate with global teams by communicating technical decisions, progress, and risks clearly in an Agile development environment.
  • •Establish and evolve engineering standards and best practices as the organization scales.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: ILS 539,750 - 698,500

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of hands-on software development with deep expertise in storage and file systems, including strong Linux user-space development (multithreading, IPC, networking, RAID/storage).
  • •Expertise in C++ with object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, plus solid distributed systems architecture knowledge.
  • •Proven ability to design, debug, optimize performance, and refactor complex high-throughput systems at scale.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership to mentor engineers through architecture/design/execution and to conduct code reviews while communicating clearly across distributed teams.
  • •Familiarity with NFS protocols/distributed file systems/cloud storage and proficiency with Python and Bash; experience with CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) and Kubernetes/containers/hypervisors.
