Key Responsibilities

  • •Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for end-user application software subsystems across local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.
  • •Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on product or solution architecture.
  • •Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during testing and usage.
  • •Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of the application.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and QA) to implement new features and represent the software engineering team in complex project phases.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or commensurate work experience).
  • •Typically 4-7 years of work experience in applications engineering, programming, or related field, or advanced degree with 3-5 years.
  • •Strong analytical and programming skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin.
  • •Deep understanding of Android architecture and Android FWK layer (system/native services and components).
  • •Experience with SCM/developer tools such as git/GitHub, Perforce, ClearCase, Android Studio, and Visual Studio.
