Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 6-month entry-level MIT program based in the distribution warehouse, receiving guidance and resources for operations management.
  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center, including operations, management, and purchasing.
  • •Observe and learn from experienced employees on methods, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders and service/maintenance and retail customers to understand the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions and deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management at program completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem solving role; alternatively, distribution/supply chain internships, leadership in organizations/clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results driven, self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program (company expense) and travel 25% of the time.
