Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end product data pipeline from feed/plugin ingestion through ML enrichment, moderation, and publication with clear SLAs for freshness, coverage, and quality.
  • •Lead the ML roadmap for catalogue intelligence, including category/attribute coverage, translation quality, ML-assisted moderation, item embeddings, and recommendations.
  • •Run large cross-team projects to drive ML features to production.
  • •Build and maintain evaluation and labeling infrastructure to measure every model change before production releases.
  • •Hire, evaluate, and motivate team members; grow ML engineers into owners of business outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years building production ML systems at scale.
  • •2+ years as an Engineering Manager or ML Team Lead in a fast-growing e-commerce, marketplace, or fintech environment.
  • •Hands-on shipping experience for LLM-based products, including prompt/pipeline design, fine-tuning, evaluation, and cost/latency control.
  • •Experience building and operating large-scale batch and streaming data/ML pipelines with observability, reproducibility, and reliability.
  • •Solid backend fundamentals, including comfort reviewing Go and Python services and distributed systems.
