Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver HV (primary) design for transmission & distribution substations, HV infrastructure, and data centre projects, including layouts, ratings, sizing, and technical oversight.
  • •Develop detailed specifications at project and equipment levels.
  • •Apply power system protection, SCADA, transmission lines, underground cables, and earthing design knowledge to support high-voltage scope.
  • •Review and verify designs and reports prepared by peers, and support Owner’s Engineer and Technical Due Diligence activities.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and drive Safety-in-Design (SID) compliance while coordinating across disciplines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •2–8+ years’ post-graduate experience in HV/EHV electrical engineering.
  • •RPEQ/RPEV registration or eligibility.
  • •Proven consultancy experience.
  • •Strong background in substation design and HV infrastructure, including cable systems and transmission & distribution utilities.
