Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, on-time, in-budget delivery to quality standards.
  • •Provide project leadership across the lifecycle, including planning, constructability, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
  • •Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to set project objectives and drive successful delivery.
  • •Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, opportunities, and dependencies to keep projects on track.
  • •Oversee project budgets and commercial performance, manage contracts and governance/reporting/controls, and champion quality, health and safety, sustainability, and risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing delivery of civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, or transport infrastructure; Transport for Main Roads (TMR) experience highly regarded).
  • •Experience across project development, construction delivery, and contract administration.
  • •Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, road and bridge design, construction/maintenance, and materials.
  • •Experience managing project budgets, programs, resources, risks, and commercial outcomes; major contract forms such as AS 2124 and AS 4300 desirable.
