Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a forklift in a freezer warehouse to move finished product safely and efficiently.
  • •Perform required safety checks of equipment before use and ensure safety of equipment used.
  • •Move finished product from blast freezer to the finished product warehouse and transport to staging based on work orders.
  • •Scan finished product into rack locations using the warehouse management system.
  • •Prepare and load trailers by opening dock doors, setting dock plates, inspecting trailers, checking temperatures, verifying load plans, chocking tires, and loading per procedure.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months’ forklift experience preferred.
  • •Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English.
  • •Ability to drive forklifts including stand-up, sit-down, hi-lift, and tandems.
  • •Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time.
  • •Ability to work safely and troubleshoot using knowledge of forklift safety, loading procedures, and GMPs.
