Job Summary

Own technical engagements for a small set of strategic accounts, guiding AI and agentic platform development using Solo.io’s API and service mesh offerings. Serve as primary technical point of contact, lead end-to-end escalation and root-cause analysis, and provide hands-on troubleshooting. Advise customers on architecture, performance tuning, and operational excellence, drive adoption through new use cases, and translate customer needs into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as primary technical point of contact for a small portfolio of strategic accounts, understanding use cases, architecture, teams, and business goals.
•Lead end-to-end technical issue resolution by partnering with Support and Engineering and driving root-cause analysis.
•Guide customers in extending Solo.io products for modern workloads, including AI and agentic use cases like LLM gateways and securing model traffic at scale.
•Proactively drive product adoption by identifying new use cases and surfacing opportunities for customers to gain more value.
•Consult on architectural best practices, performance tuning, and operational excellence; deliver training and capture feedback for Product and Engineering.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Customer Success Engineer, SRE, or Senior Support Engineer).
•Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Cilium), and API gateways/proxies (Envoy, Gloo Gateway).
•1+ years hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies such as LLMs, agentic frameworks, model-serving platforms, or AI infrastructure.
•Proven track record managing technical relationships with large, strategic enterprise customers in a post-sales context.
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
