Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and coordinate injection molding department activities, leading safety culture, quality vision adherence, and departmental goals and objectives.
  • •Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, productivity, and other factors affecting plant and departmental performance.
  • •Manage production execution by supervising personnel and overseeing production volumes, costs, scrap, staffing/efficiency, and meeting schedules and delivery dates.
  • •Oversee technical and production staff (select, train, develop, and monitor performance), plan training needs, and manage departmental expenses and capital budgets.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional work with EHS&S, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production Scheduling; manage mold changes/repairs and support new projects on time and on budget.

Key Requirements

  • •B.A. or B.S. degree (or equivalent) plus 7+ years of related plastic injection molding experience in a manufacturing leadership position.
  • •Proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment, managing safety, quality, productivity, and schedules.
  • •Strong technical and managerial skills with working knowledge of Excel and other software for gathering and analyzing data.
  • •Ability to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data, recognize mechanical/production challenges, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Demonstrated interpersonal leadership skills to motivate employees, foster teamwork, and drive continuous improvement.
