Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with design engineering and external partners to support new product introduction and sustaining engineering for high bit rate optical coherent transceivers.
  • •Lead yield improvement and drive product, process, and quality improvements.
  • •Own product debug and RMA activities, driving actions to closure.
  • •Support cost modeling and lead cost reduction activities with cross-functional teams.
  • •Perform DFX activities, analyze performance across device-to-subsystem parameters, lead failure analysis/root cause/corrective actions, and approve readiness for volume manufacturing.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a relevant major.
  • •5+ years supporting design and NPI of high bit rate optical transponders.
  • •Experience with optical modules production and process for QSFP-DD, OSFP, CFP2, QSFP-112 (or similar).
  • •Knowledge of 100G/200G/400G/800G/1.6T optical module specifications and test requirements.
  • •In-depth knowledge of analog and digital electronics, RF, and optical communication circuits/components.
