Job Summary

Help shape Vapi’s developer platform by owning progressive delivery and GitOps across multi-cluster environments. You’ll manage IaC tooling (Pulumi, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and deployment tooling (ArgoCD) to improve deploy speed, safety, and reliability for internal engineering teams. This role blends platform engineering with real-world production rollout practices to accelerate safe software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the progressive delivery end-to-end for multiple services, including canary, automated rollback, and soak testing.
•Ensure rapid, safe deployments by improving the deploy pipeline and creating measurable lead time improvements.
•Develop and maintain on-demand environments and cell-creation tooling for internal engineers.
•Lead GitOps implementation across clusters and regions, coordinating with Infra and SRE teams on multi-region rollouts.
•Build and refine developer-platform tooling with SLAs and robust documentation to enable fast shipping across teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 200,000 - 270,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience operating Pulumi or Terraform at scale (40+ stacks, multi-region) and managing IaC sprawl.
•Proficiency with ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps tooling for multi-cluster deployments.
•Strong background building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Dockerfiles across services.
•Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration (Kubernetes on EKS) and containerized workloads.
•Ability to design and implement progressive delivery patterns (canary, blue/green, automated rollback, soak).
