Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to departmental goals and the long-term technology roadmap, including leading team initiatives to improve processes and ways of working.
  • •Define and deliver high-quality computational fluid dynamics models to support streamlined design iterations.
  • •Mentor the team on CFD approaches and ensure consistent, accurate simulation models.
  • •Verify fluid performance using established and newly developed test methods, including work on thermal protection and product function confirmation.
  • •Lead the fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for assigned projects, owning requirements, delivering milestones, and communicating progress, risks, and solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical engineering (or equivalent); Master degree preferred.
  • •5+ years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development, preferably for consumer electrical appliances.
  • •In-depth knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
  • •Working knowledge of flow measurement techniques such as PIV, shadowgraphy, and pressure transducers.
  • •Advanced ability using Fluent/OpenFOAM and ANSA meshing (or relevant CFD/meshing software).
