Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, document, and maintain US GAAP accounting policies across significant areas as standards and the business evolve.
  • •Serve as lead technical advisor on novel transactions, including revenue arrangements (ASC 606), large compute and infrastructure commitments, complex financing and equity instruments, and M&A/investments.
  • •Create and institutionalize a whitepaper and position-memo discipline to document accounting conclusions with rigorous citations.
  • •Lead technical discussions with external auditors and SEC on complex or unsettled issues and drive timely resolution.
  • •Prepare SEC-style external reporting, including financial statements, disclosures, supporting close/reporting processes, and SOX-ready controls.

Salary: USD 300,000 - 385,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Active CPA license.
  • •Public accounting tenure at a top firm reaching Director, Managing Director, or Partner (or national office Senior Manager selected into the SEC Professional Accounting Fellow program).
  • •Deep US GAAP expertise with strong command of SEC reporting requirements.
  • •Experience leading a technical accounting and/or accounting policy function at a high-growth technology company.
  • •Ability to research, reach conclusions, document complex novel accounting positions, and defend them with external auditors.
