Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead construction management and project delivery activities for major transportation infrastructure projects across Texas, including highways, bridges, and tunnels.
  • •Provide senior-level technical and operational leadership and act as an escalation point for complex construction and delivery issues.
  • •Mentor, coach, and develop construction managers, resident engineers, inspectors, and other construction management professionals.
  • •Establish and maintain QA/QC practices, ensuring project documentation, inspections, reporting, and deliverables meet AECOM and client requirements.
  • •Oversee project delivery performance including staffing, workload, financial performance, schedules, quality, risk, and operational execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain a Texas PE license.
  • •Previous experience as a TxDOT District Engineer, Area Engineer, Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, or comparable senior transportation construction leadership role.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading construction management teams on major transportation infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, and tunnels.
  • •Strong knowledge of Texas transportation project delivery and experience working with TxDOT and/or public-sector agencies.
