Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; diagnose root causes using real-time equipment data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing and maintaining equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; complete repairs.
  • •Travel to customer job sites as required for preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up/delivery and training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Experience reading and knowing schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a 10-panel drug screen; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if needed).
