Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead hydrogeology projects within the mining sector, directing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact outcomes
  • •Oversee mine water management, permitting, closure planning, hydrogeological and surface water investigations, and environmental impact assessments for global mining clients
  • •Provide senior technical review to ensure deliverables meet QA/QC standards and prepare complex technical plans
  • •Lead client delivery through project management and regulatory agency communications, building strong client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities
  • •Mentor and coach staff, guide design and data interpretation reviews, and support a collaborative, safety-focused team culture

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in geology, civil engineering, mining, environmental science or close related field
  • •10+ years of experience in mining hydrogeology, with a strong track record working across the full mining lifecycle
  • •Proven leadership in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary mining projects
  • •Proven client facing leadership—program management, scope/budget ownership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
  • •Strong self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
