Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and enhance global Travel Risk Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, Kidnap & Ransom (K&R), and Workforce Assurance (WFAP) programs aligned with duty of care obligations and relevant standards.
  • •Monitor global travel activity and emerging threats to issue travel risk advisories and pre-travel briefings for employees traveling to elevated-risk destinations.
  • •Coordinate emergency assistance, medical evacuation, and security evacuation support with third-party travel risk providers, and manage incident response and case management for security and violence threats.
  • •Design and maintain workplace violence prevention programs, including threat assessment protocols and crisis intervention procedures, and lead multidisciplinary Threat Assessment Teams with HR, Legal, Security, Employee Relations, and IT risk stakeholders.
  • •Develop, maintain, and validate duty of care policies and playbooks; lead tabletop exercises and reporting (KPIs/dashboards) to drive continuous improvement and operational readiness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years leading travel risk management, workplace violence prevention, background and drug testing adjudication, and Kidnap & Ransom/crisis management programs in large global organizations.
  • •Strong knowledge of duty of care principles and standards including ISO 31030 and ISO 45001, plus FCRA and workplace violence prevention best practices.
  • •Experience managing Kidnap & Ransom insurance programs, including policy administration and incident response coordination with brokers and response consultants.
  • •Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, global teams and act as a trusted advisor to leadership during travel security and crisis events.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications (e.g., CTH, CPP, CPO or similar) are a plus.
